Two Service Tiers
Tier 1 — Free Delivery (orders above AED 500)
Standard courier delivery anywhere in the UAE. Same-day in Dubai for orders placed before 4 pm. Next-business-day to Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah. Mac arrives in original or branded MacUAE box, factory-sealed if new-condition or freshly reset if used. Photo proof of condition included at handover. AED 25 flat fee for orders below AED 500.
Tier 2 — White-Glove Setup (AED 199, or free above AED 6,000)
An English-and-Arabic-speaking technician brings the Mac to your home or office and stays for 60–90 minutes to set it up properly. This is the difference between owning a Mac you have to learn how to use, and a Mac that's ready for work when the technician leaves.
What the White-Glove Setup Covers
Unboxing and physical setup. For MacBook: connect charger, perform first-boot. For Mac Mini / Mac Studio: connect to your existing display, keyboard, mouse, and any external SSDs. For iMac: position on your desk, route cables, configure stand or VESA mount. The technician brings a basic toolkit and adapters (USB-C to USB-A, HDMI to USB-C, etc.) in case anything's missing.
macOS first-run setup. Language and region, Wi-Fi, Apple ID sign-in, Touch ID enrollment (up to 5 fingers), Find My activation, iCloud configuration (iCloud Drive, Photos, iMessage), Screen Time setup (if requested), and Apple Pay / Wallet configuration. We also disable any default settings most users don't want (Siri suggestions in Spotlight, location-based ads, etc.).
Data migration from your old Mac. Three options depending on what you have. Migration Assistant over a Thunderbolt cable is fastest — 20–60 minutes for typical 200–500 GB transfers. Wi-Fi Migration Assistant is slower but works if you don't have a cable. Time Machine restore reads from your external backup drive. The technician supervises end-to-end and verifies your apps, files, photos, and settings transferred cleanly.
Software installation. Pre-agreed list. Common essentials we install: Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Teams), Adobe Creative Cloud (you supply the login), Chrome / Firefox / Brave, WhatsApp Desktop, Telegram, Zoom, Slack, Signal, Spotify, VLC, The Unarchiver, Rectangle (window manager). For developers: Xcode, Homebrew, Git, VS Code, Docker Desktop, iTerm2. For creatives: Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Affinity Photo / Designer / Publisher.
Peripheral setup. Printer (CUPS + driver install), external display (resolution + scaling), scanner, external SSD or NAS, audio interface, Time Machine backup drive. We confirm everything works before leaving.
Walkthrough. 10–15 minute tour of macOS for new users — Finder basics, Spotlight, Mission Control, Stage Manager, keyboard shortcuts you'll use daily, where to find System Settings, how to update software. Bundled Service — Sell Your Old Mac on the Same Visit

We sign it out of iCloud at your desk (so you watch it happen), perform a clean macOS reinstall on the spot, and take the Mac back to our Dubai Media City office.

Yes. We support three migration paths. (1) Migration Assistant over Thunderbolt cable — fastest, typically 20–60 minutes for 200–500 GB. (2) Migration Assistant over your local Wi-Fi — slower, 1–3 hours. (3) Restore from a Time Machine backup on your external SSD. Bring the old Mac (or its Time Machine drive) to the appointment. The technician supervises the transfer end-to-end.

Is white-glove setup worth AED 199?
Depends on your time and how new Macs are to you. For an experienced Mac user buying a like-for-like upgrade, no — Apple's first-run setup takes 15 minutes and Migration Assistant does the rest. For a first-time Mac buyer, an executive with no patience for setup, or someone migrating from Windows, it's a 60–90 minute appointment that saves you an afternoon of fiddling with settings and a week of accumulated annoyances. The AED 199 is waived on Mac orders above AED 6,000.
