Our Story

MacUAE exists because buying a used Mac in Dubai usually means trusting a stranger's word about a machine you cannot verify. Listings say "like new" and "battery excellent" without a single number behind either claim. We built the business around removing that guesswork: every figure we give you is measured, and every check happens before you pay rather than after.

We are based at Concord Tower, Dubai Media City and operate as an independent used Mac dealer — we are not affiliated with Apple. Every Mac we stock is UAE-spec and pre-owned: the serial is checked against Apple's coverage database before you pay, Apple Diagnostics is run, battery cycle count and health are recorded and disclosed, Activation Lock is confirmed off, and cosmetics are graded A/B/C. Every unit carries a 90-day MacUAE parts and labour warranty.

How we check every Mac

The same five checks run on every machine before it is offered for sale. None of them is a marketing line — each produces a fact we can show you.

1. Serial checked against Apple. We verify the serial at Apple's coverage database, confirm the model and year match, and share the serial with you before payment so you can check it independently.
2. Activation Lock confirmed off. A Mac still tied to a previous owner's Apple Account cannot be unlocked by anyone, including Apple. We confirm it is clear before the machine is listed.
3. Battery cycle count and health recorded. Both numbers, in writing, before you commit — not "battery is good".
4. Apple Diagnostics run. Apple's own hardware test, on the specific machine you are buying.
5. Cosmetics graded A, B or C. Appearance only. Grading never affects the testing or the warranty.

What we do, and what we don't

We sell Macs. That is the whole business, and keeping it narrow is why we can check every machine properly rather than moving volume.

• Mac only. MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac mini, Mac Studio and Mac Pro. No other Apple product lines.
• Pre-owned first, new when you want it. Verified used Macs are the core of what we do. We also supply current-generation models new, which carry Apple's standard one-year hardware warranty; used machines carry our own 90-day parts and labour warranty.
• We buy as well as sell. Trade your Mac against another, or sell it outright — quote on WhatsApp or by email, free collection across Dubai, paid on the spot.
• Wholesale export. Bulk supply from Dubai to resellers, schools and corporates across Africa and the GCC.
• No repair service. We are not a repair shop. Warranty faults inside the 90 days are ours to put right; general repairs are not something we offer.

Why we don't publish prices

You will not find a price list on this site, and that is deliberate. Used stock is not a catalogue — each machine has its own condition, battery cycle count, configuration and history, and two Macs of the same model can be genuinely worth different amounts. A published figure would either be wrong for most machines or so hedged as to be useless.

So we quote per machine. Tell us the model and what you need it for, by email or WhatsApp, and you get a real figure for a real machine that is actually in stock.
