How to Buy Used Macs from Dubai: Payment, Shipping & Safe Ordering

We accept bank transfer (SWIFT) in USD or AED, BNPL via Tabby and Tamara for UAE-based buyers, and third-party escrow for first orders. For international wholesale, the standard method is a telegraphic transfer to our UAE corporate bank account, with the invoice quoted in USD or AED at your choice.

We never ask for payment to a personal account or to a name that does not match our UAE trade licence. If anyone claiming to be MacUAE asks for that, stop and call us on +971 55 463 6100 to verify.

Every order follows the same eight steps so nothing is left to guesswork.

• 1. Enquiry: Send your model list, quantities and target grade (A/B/C) by WhatsApp or email.
• 2. Quote: We return a formal quotation on MacUAE letterhead with unit prices, grades, total in USD/AED, and lead time.
• 3. Verification: We send our UAE trade licence and bank details; you verify the company name independently.
• 4. Stock video call: We show your actual units live on WhatsApp/Zoom: serial numbers, screens powered on, battery-cycle counts and cosmetic condition.
• 5. Order confirmation: You approve the pro-forma invoice; first-time buyers can choose escrow or a partial deposit.
• 6. Payment: You pay by SWIFT (or release the deposit). We confirm receipt in writing.
• 7. QC & dispatch: Each Mac is ASD-tested, IMEI/serial-checked and re-photographed before sealing. We book DHL, Aramex, FedEx or sea freight and send you the tracking number.
• 8. Delivery & sign-off: You receive, inspect within the inspection window, and confirm. Escrow funds are then released.

Trust should be verifiable, not promised. Before you transfer a single dirham, you can confirm who you are dealing with using independent checks:

• UAE trade licence verification: We provide our licence number, which you can cross-check against the issuing UAE authority. The licence name must match the bank account exactly.
• Live video call of your stock: Not stock photos. We power on your specific units, read out serial numbers and battery-cycle counts, and pan across cosmetic condition on request.
• Escrow or partial deposit for first orders: Your money is protected until you confirm delivery, so the risk of a first-time relationship sits with us, not you.
• Trade references: On request we share contactable references from existing buyers in Africa and the GCC.
• Consistent paper trail: Quotation, pro-forma invoice, packing list and courier waybill all carry the same company name and details.

Legitimate suppliers welcome these checks. Treat any reluctance to verify as a red flag.

Every Mac is graded on cosmetic condition and functionally tested before it ships, and the grade is written on your invoice. This is what prevents "not as described" disputes.

For every unit we confirm the serial number, macOS Apple System Diagnostics (ASD) test pass, and battery cycle count. Devices are sold with clean activation status (no iCloud / Activation Lock). For bulk lots, grade mix and battery-cycle thresholds are agreed in writing in the quotation.

We export worldwide via DHL, Aramex and FedEx for express air, and consolidated sea freight for large-volume orders to Africa and the GCC. Dubai's position as a re-export hub means fast, well-connected routes to most destinations.

• Small to medium lots (express air): DHL, Aramex or FedEx, typically 2-6 working days depending on destination and clearance.
• Large volume / pallets: Sea freight from Jebel Ali or air cargo, quoted per shipment by weight and volume.
• Packaging: Anti-static, foam-protected and boxed for international transit; each carton has a packing list matching serial numbers.
• Insurance: Transit insurance is available and recommended on higher-value shipments.

You can choose your own freight forwarder if you prefer; we will hand goods to your nominated agent in Dubai with full documentation.

We handle export documentation from Dubai; you (or your forwarder) handle import clearance and any duties in the destination country. This is the standard DAP/Ex-Works split for B2B exports, and we set expectations clearly upfront.

• From our side: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin on request, and export paperwork required to leave the UAE.
• From your side: import clearance, VAT/duties and any licensing in your country. We can advise but cannot pre-pay foreign duties.
• Live tracking: Every shipment ships with a courier tracking number (DHL/Aramex/FedEx) or freight booking reference, sent to you on dispatch so you follow the consignment door to door.

Tell us the destination country at quotation stage and we will confirm the Incoterm (e.g. EXW Dubai, FOB Jebel Ali, or DAP) on your invoice so there are no surprises.

If a Mac arrives faulty or materially not as described, report it within the inspection window and we will replace it, repair it, or refund it. Our written RMA policy is the safety net that makes first-time orders low-risk.

• Inspection window: Inspect on arrival and report any DOA (dead-on-arrival) or mismatch with photos/video within the agreed window (typically a set number of days from delivery).
• DOA / functional fault: Covered by the 90-day MacUAE warranty — we arrange repair, like-for-like replacement, or refund of that unit.
• Not as described: If grade, model, spec or serial does not match the invoice, we correct it or refund the difference.
• Escrow protection: On escrow orders, you only release funds once delivered goods are confirmed as described.
• Resolution: Faults are logged per serial number so the resolution is traceable and documented.

Normal cosmetic wear consistent with the stated grade is not a fault; that is why we state grade and show stock on video before you pay.
