When you buy a used Mac in Dubai, what warranty do you actually get? Here's a clear breakdown of Apple's warranty, MacUAE's warranty, and what to expect.
1. Apple's standard warranty (1 year)
Every new Mac includes a 1-year Apple Limited Warranty. This covers manufacturing defects — not accidental damage. If the Mac is still within its first year, the warranty transfers to the new owner. Check at checkcoverage.apple.com.
2. AppleCare+ (extend to 3 years)
If the original owner bought AppleCare+, it covers 3 years from the original purchase date and includes 2 accidental damage incidents (for a fee). This also transfers to the new owner. Check the coverage page to see if it's active.
3. MacUAE 90-day warranty
Every used Mac sold by MacUAE includes our own 90-day warranty covering hardware defects. If the Mac develops a hardware fault within 90 days, we repair or replace it — free.
